Serena D'Agostino, born in Italy in 1981, lives in Saint-Gilles and works as a senior postdoctoral researcher. She moved to Brussels in 2012. She loves life in her neighbourhood around the Parvis de Saint-Gilles, the Pianofabriek and the Porte de Halle, as well as the Duden Park. For her, Brussels is all about the beautiful green surroundings and parks, the openness, freedom and community spirit. But she is bothered by politics, high rents and commercial pressure. Her questions for the future concern climate, quality of life, safety, inequality, politics and representation.
