Alicia Duquenois, born in Mons in 1991, lives in Etterbeek, has French and Italian roots and works as a training officer in a public social welfare centre. She moved to Brussels in 2015. She loves the Botanique, St. Catherine's, the Ancienne Belgique, the Christmas market and the small restaurants and cafés. For her, Brussels is a place of openness and opportunity, cultural and social diversity, multilingualism and the place where she has her friends. But it is also a city with poverty and inadequate public transport. Her questions for the future concern ecology, housing and social integration.
