Najla Alshami, born in Yemen in 1976, moved to Beirut during the 2014 war and after the explosion in Beirut, she moved to Brussels. She lives in Brussels City and is an artist. For her, Brussels is the capital, diversity, home, her neighbourhood of Sainte-Catherine. She would love to visit all the museums and go to the opera and other cultural activities, but it is too expensive for her. Her questions to the future are about welcoming newcomers, tolerance and affordability of life in Brussels.
