Maroan Abdellah, born in Brussels in 1992, lives in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, has Moroccan and Libyan roots and works as a parliamentary assistant. She also writes books and does workshops on eloquence all over Brussels. Brussels for her is diversity, the mix, the uncertainty, hearing the other voice, but also the noise pollution, the crowds and insecurity that women experience. She sees increasing policy attention to women in public spaces and urbanism. She goes to the mosque at Anneessens on Fridays and likes Matonge and its people a lot. Her questions about the future are about poverty, safety of women and young people in prisons.
