Mervie Likouete, born in Loubomo in 1991, lives in Brussels City, has Congolese roots and works as a project manager and singer. She loves the “village” around rue de Flandre with its cafés and shops, but also Josaphat Park and Tour & Taxis and the positive changes in the pedestrian zone and the Stock Exchange. For her, Brussels is multicultural, warm, human, a home. She sings an ode to Brussels with rapper Zaïmoon.
