Amir Haberkorn, born in 1944 in a refugee camp in Lausanne, lives in Ganshoren, has Polish roots and is retired, but works as a bridge builder at the Jewish Museum. Loves the diversity of Brussels, its rich history, places like La Fonderie which symbolises the industrial past, but also the splendour of the Grand Place and the Brussels’ park and Josaphat park. For him, Brussels is also the Zinneke parade and popular festivals. Unfortunately, it is also Brussels' poverty, political backwardness and inequality. His questions about the future include social struggles, diversity and young people as hope for climatic challenges.
