Yazmin Vandenhouwe, born in 2002 in the Dominican Republic, lives in Molenbeek, has Dominican roots and is a student. She came to Brussels at the age of 4 with her mum. Loves the multilingualism and diversity of Brussels but has problems with increasing crime and litter. She attends a church every Sunday that connects with her Spanish-speaking roots. Loves places like City 2, Docks Bruxsel, Rue Neuve, De Brouckère and regrets the disappearance of Océade. Her questions to the future are about the position of Dutch, crime and security and living together between different cultures.
