Amal Boualga, born in Paris in 1981 grew up in Algeria, lives in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, has French and Algerian roots and works as a translator. She came to Brussels when she was 29. Even though it was difficult at the beginning and she misses her big family, for her Brussels is now her home with friends and her family. She likes breakfast and lunch spots, spontaneous walks, the evolution around the South Station and the vibrancy of the city, but is less positive about public transport, the elaboration of the Pedestrian Zone and the affordability of houses where there is also some greenery. Her questions about the future are about children and young people and their opportunities in the city.
