Thomas Lauwers, born in 1976, has lived in Brussels since the age of 10, has Belgian and German roots and works as a reputation manager. Has spoken Dutch at school since childhood and French and German at home. He has a strong attachment to Brussels city centre where he grew up and hung out at the metro station De Brouckère, the Halles Saint-Géry and Mont des Arts. For him, Brussels is vibrancy, diversity, improvement in terms of urbanism and culture, but also decline in terms of cleanliness, traffic, unemployment. His questions about the future are about livability, greenery and fewer cars.
