Alessandra Franchi was born in 1969, has Italian nationality, lives in Schaerbeek and is a lawyer. She came to Brussels in 1998 and married a Dutch-speaking Belgian. Multilingualism is quite normal for her. She speaks Italian, French, Dutch and German. She has seen Brussels change positively, with many young people and many new dynamics in different municipalities. She cycles to work every day and loves the parks and greenery in Brussels. She sometimes thinks about returning to Tuscany when she retires.
