Rik Woutters was born in 1938 in Ixelles and lives in Molenbeek on the edge with Dilbeek. His parents had a butchery in Uccle and when he got married, he moved to Switzerland for a while. After five years, he returned with his family and lived and worked as a car parts dealer in Dilbeek. He talks about the Brussels of old: about working-class pubs, dancings and balls. Rik thinks the pedestrian zone is a very good revolution and an important change in Brussels. His questions about the Brussels of the future are about moving around the city, and politics.
